Mobile Money Certification is designed for providers seeking to demonstrate they have taken appropriate steps to provide a sound service that safeguards deposits, use secure mobile networks and communication channels, and treat customers fairly.
Prior to pursuing Certification, an MMP should review the Toolkit and conduct a thorough self-assessment to determine preparedness. Then, the MMP may either apply to begin the Certification process or, if desired, hire a Consultant to improve its level of compliance.
