Certification Fees
Each mobile money provider seeking certification must pay a fee to Alliances Management as the Scheme Operator of the certification process and program. The certification fees are $16,000 for GSMA members, and $25,000 for non-members. The certification fee is due and payable at the execution of the contract and before the certification assessment can be scheduled will the Mobile Money Provider. All certification fees are payable in U.S. dollars.
Consultant Fees
A mobile money provider may elect to hire an Accredited Consultant to assist it in preparing for the certification process. This is optional, and pricing would vary based on the scope of work required. The mobile money provider will pay the fees directly to the Consultant.
